First worn: Ani-Magic 2003
This was for Angel Hearts’ first performance at the Ani-Magic 2003 Karaoke Revue! A friend and I were big fans of ZONE, and this song is so pretty! We called our ZONE sub-unit “Pacific Time ZONE” (since we lived in California). We put together white outfits following the general silhouette of what each girl wore (not real accurate but you can hardly see what they look like anyway and it’s not like anyone would know). We also liked the sunflower imagery used in the music video, so we pinned some random sunflowers to our outfits and carried fake sunflowers with water droplets (hitoshizuku) on them.Β “Hitoshizuku” was the theme song for the Japanese release of the movie “Ice Age”.
