Halloween 2021 was low key for us.Β No real costumes this year either, but I grabbed some cat ears and tried to get pictures of my son and me as cats…. (That smirk is him plotting to grab my phone)….
But my son obviously had other opinions!Β After this photo, he took the cat ears off and…. broke the headband.Β In three places.Β Ahhh, children.Β I’ve had those cat ears for more than 20 years, and didn’t expect them to meet their end quite like this.
But look at this cute little R2!Β How can I be mad at him?? This was his “costume” for the evening, an R2-D2 bodysuit and hat.Β He is R2-K2.
Kids are really hard to photograph at this age.Β He was looking at a book and watching music videos while I snapped a whole lot of awkward photos.Β Otherwise he’d be zooming everywhere!Β I got the cute smile when one of his favorite songs came on.

Oh!Β It is a magnificent Rainbow Unicorn Fairy King Tass!Β A mystical beast of legend!Β I can’t imagine why he isn’t happier.Β I mean, isn’t he beautiful?Β ;p
