How is it already the last day of the year?
2020 was actually a relatively good year for me.Β Much better than the last two years, that’s for sure.Β I had a healthy and fairly easy pregnancy and felt better than I had in years, and then had my baby boy in early September.Β I am still struggling to find any time to myself, but watching this beautiful, happy little boy grow has truly been a joy.
The beginning of the year feels like it was eons ago.Β I actually made two (simple) new costumes and went to one anime con, Anime LA.Β It was exhausting while pregnant but still fun.Β After the pandemic hit, I was perfectly content to stay at home and take it easy.Β I did a lot of organizing around the house and played a lot of video games from my backlog.Β However, not having anywhere to go completely killed my motivation for dressing up or sewing, and after organizing the rest of the house, the sewing room became an enormous junk heap and is not currently usable… oops.Β It’ll probably stay that way for quite some time.
It’s hard to know what 2021 will bring.Β Β Both the world and my personal life are very different these days.Β Take care of yourself, be patient, and think positive, and hopefully it will be a better year for all of us!
