Halloween is coming! Here are some photos of a Halloween Witch costume I put together in 2019. The dress is from my Wake Up, Girls! Miyu maid cosplay and the orange bow is from Miyu’s original idol costume. I knitted the scarf and legwarmers, and I got a mini witch hat from Michael’s and added a bunch of decoration to it (orange roses with gold glitter on the edges, orange feathers, orange organza bow, and black netting with gold dots). To finish the look, I added jack-o-lantern earrings, gold sequin wrist cuffs, orange tights, black mary janes, and orange nail polish! My lipstick is also a shimmery orange color, which I found surprisingly flattering. [affiliate links]
The legwarmers were fun to make, but the scarf took forever. Actually, I think I had started it the previous year and worked on it off and on, finally finishing it a year later than intended.
And here is the witch with her cat, a little gremlin named Zertoo. What kind of shenanigans shall we get into this week, sir? Oh, hiding from small children? Well, I suppose that is a good idea.
