2024 Updates + 10th Anniversary!

Well hello there!  I told myself I would start posting again in 2024, and 2024 is not over yet!  It’s been a busy year, and it feels great!  My son has started preschool a couple mornings a week, so that means I now have a little bit of this magical thing call Free Time that I have been using to catch up on my hobbies!  In particular, I have been sewing more, and my idol cover group Angel Hearts is back from hiatus!  Things have changed a lot in the last 5 or so years, and it’s amazing to be back.

A few weeks ago, my husband and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary.  We kept things simple.  I wore this comfy floral dress and we went to Gyu-kaku, our usual place.

Then I realized something.  You know what else is 10 years old?  This blog!  I know, I haven’t been very focused, and there were years that I didn’t post much, if at all, but 10 years is still a notable milestone and a lot of content.

So I’ve been trying to reorganize the site to make it easier to browse.  This included updating URLs, which unfortunately means I broke every link to my site.  Since I’ll need to review every single post I’ve ever made, I decided to take the opportunity to update some posts as well, including adding new photos and shopping links.  There’s a couple hundred pages, so it’s going to take a while.  I’ve also reorganized the categories and menus, so hopefully older content will be easier to find.

Honestly, there have been a lot of days these past couple years where I didn’t feel very motivated and definitely not very cute.  However, I’m slowly starting to feel like I’m regaining some control of my life, and the inspiration to live a “kawaii, girly geek life at any age” is returning.  I hope I can share that energy here once again.
