Who remembers these? Who OWNED these?? This is my collection of Nintendo comics published by Valiant in the early 90’s! I loved these comics so much. I saw a booth selling some of these at WonderCon, and it brought back many happy memories!
When I was young, my family would usually stop by the grocery store after church on Sundays. I would run over to the magazine section to see if they had any Nintendo comics! As a gamer who loved to draw, these comics were some of my favorite things ever. They even inspired me to draw my own comics, although I would draw them picture-book style, with one drawing per page. Of course, I loved the Mario, Zelda, and Captain N cartoon series too, and watched them religiously [affiliate links – watch the Super Mario Brothers Super Show and The Legend of Zelda on Prime]. I own all three on DVD. Captain N was always my favorite!
