I first cosplayed Lynn Minmay at Ani-Magic 2000, where Mari Iijima, the Japanese voice actress, singer, and songwriter for Minmay, was a guest. I was so thrilled to be able to see her perform live. I love her voice and songs, and she is so cute! My sister and I cosplayed different versions of Minmay for the masquerade (my sister later gave me her Minmay outfit and I wore it myself) and we were able to get a photo with Mari Iijima afterwards. Since then I have seen her perform many more times at different conventions, and it’s always great to hear her sing.
