These photos are from when I colored my hair with Joico Color Intensity Magenta [affiliate link] at home for the first time. This was July 2020, about a month and a half before I had my son. As my due date approached, I decided to give my hair one last hurrah before completely ignoring it for the next year or so while I took care of my baby. I knew from having my hair colored with Joico before at the salon that this magenta was extremely long lasting, so I could have pink hair for quite some time without having to recolor it. It bleeds a lot in the beginning, though, so I made sure to color my hair at least a month before my due date so it would stop bleeding by the time I had my baby.
These photos with the curled hair are from three weeks later, and as you can see, the color is still vibrant! For those not familiar with bright hair colors, pink especially tends to look pretty faded after only a couple weeks. With Joico Magenta, it takes about three months before you really start to notice it fading. If you want a long-lasting magenta, this is it!
