When I went to Japan in 2017, I wanted the authentic experience of having gel nails done there, so I went to RounGe in Shibuya. I asked for glittery pink cherry blossom nails (it was cherry blossom season) and showed some examples on my phone. Unfortunately during my trip I had broken a nail, so that’s why they are all short. Honestly, I was underwhelmed by the experience. Maybe I’m spoiled from having a friend who does awesome gel nails already, but it was nothing special. The design was something I could’ve done myself. The pink was a little brighter than I’d like, and the stickers weren’t my favorite. Maybe I’m a little glad they weren’t amazing, because then I’d be sad I couldn’t get my nails done all the time.
