Halloween is coming up, so here’s a flashback from Halloween 15 years ago! Sometimes you get burnt out on cosplay and just want to throw together something simple for Halloween. This is a super basic black and orange outfit with an old magician cape and a witch hat. It was also a Tuesday and I clearly had nowhere to go and nothing to do. Hah.
I even took some selfies. You should be impressed. Guys, this was 2006. BEFORE SMARTPHONES. And my digital camera didn’t have a flip screen. Selfies in those days were aim, shoot, and hope for the best. And delete a lot of screw-ups.
I was just starting to get into makeup at this time, so I kept it simple. Orangish lipstick and a bit of gold eyeshadow that you can barely see.
It’s getting dark!
I think this was the last time I carved pumpkins. These days, I just don’t have the energy for the mess it creates. Was that supposed to be me and Nightshade (my old black cat)? I do remember the cat had two fangs when I started, and then I did a terrible cutting job and ended up cutting off one of the teeth. Oops.
What is even going on here?? The black cats are having a bonfire….
