Since we were trying to keep things simple this year, this was our Christmas tree, an itty bitty Super Mario desktop tree [affiliate link] with a Question Block base, rainbow LEDs, and a light-up Super Star. There was a Zelda tree [affiliate link] too, and although I’m an even bigger Zelda fan, I felt the Mario theme worked better for Christmas because of the star. The tree has a USB plug, which I plugged in to my laptop, currently set up at the kitchen bar (our kitchen is open to the family room, where I watch the kiddo all day). Although small, the tree is decent quality and definitely adds some quick and geeky holiday cheer.
