When I told my husband in 2016 that I had never made a gingerbread house before, he was horrified at my “deprived childhood”, and insisted we buy a gingerbread house kit for Christmas. My sister and I put it together on Christmas Eve. Look how cute it is! Festive and colorful, with plenty of candy and frosting to go around. This kit (which we got at Bed, Bath, and Beyond) came with a slotted plastic tray, so you didn’t have to worry about the pieces falling over. The gingerbread tasted good, too! We enjoyed both putting it together AND eating it! 🙂
