How cute is this?? I recently picked up some Hello Kitty pasta from Marukai, the Japanese market. Actually, I was reminded of the time I found cat paw pasta in Hawaii, but never got a chance to buy it. So I was excited to find more cute pasta to try! I went simple and just put it in some cream of chicken soup. I know, I’m a sucker for branding.
I also got this sakura pasta, colored pink with beets! I’m glad I remembered to get a picture of the package, because after I cooked it, it lost its color. I may have overcooked it, but I don’t know. It was still hard when I tried it earlier. 🙁
This time I cooked meatballs with broccoli and cauliflower in cream of mushroom. I was hoping the pink flowers would add more fun colors to the mix (they would’ve looked really cute next to the green broccoli), but oh well. The cherry blossoms were also too delicate and fell apart easily. The Hello Kitty pasta was much thicker and sturdier, so that would be my pick for cute pasta.
