Hawaiian Christmas Coord from 2019

This is a casual Christmas coord I wore to have tea with my friends in December 2019.  I had just come back from Hawaii and had bought an adorable Hawaiian Christmas print fabric from Fabric Mart (one of my favorite places to shop in Honolulu 😉 ).  I was determined to use it right away and not just let it sit in my stash, so I made a simple gathered skirt and matching hair bow.  If you were actually in Hawaii, you probably wouldn’t be wearing a turtleneck sweater, but I was back in California. 😉  I added a rainbow plumeria hair clip and bracelet from Hawaii, a rainbow jingle bell necklace, a sparkly bow belt, and a little red bow from Sweet Rococo to my coord.  Socks from Baby, the Stars Shine Bright; shoes are from a Taobao brand.

Here’s a close-up from the skirt.  Fabric Mart has so many great Hawaiian prints, in multiple colorways.  They have a lot of Japanese prints, too!  I actually saw an advertisement for the store in the Hawaiian Airlines booklet while on the plane and told my husband we had to go there.  I bought so much fabric on my first trip to Hawaii, my suitcase was overweight on the way back!  But my stash has been growing faster than I get around to sewing them, so I’ve been trying to hold back on my last couple trips.
