Zertoo is enjoying Daddy’s new ride…. π It’s been a rough year so far, but we’re hanging in there.
The year started with me getting really sick right on Jan 1st and being sick for three whole weeks!Β I had to cancel ALA, including masquerade and an Aikatsu performance, both of which I was super disappointed about.Β Then I had particularly bad abdominal pain for the next three weeks.
And then… my husband had a cycling accident and broke his right femur near the hip. He was in the hospital for nearly two weeks, and has had almost constant doctor and therapy appointments since he got home. He can’t put any weight on his leg for a few months, and then who knows how long it’ll be before he can walk or drive. Until then, I’m stuck by his side!Β β₯ (Where is my nurse outfit??)Β Unfortunately this means no annual trip to NorCal/Fanime for me, but I’m just glad my husband is ok, and that he didn’t hit his head or break his collarbone (other common cycling injuries). He’s in good health and good spirits otherwise. We’re just going to be homebodies for the next few months.
We WILL be going to Wondercon, though! It’s close enough, and I’m in dire need of some fun right about now….
