I wore this outfit during the winter, but I suppose in cooler climates it would work as a spring coordinate. Once again I layered this cute short sleeve sweater over a turtleneck (pink this time) and wore my long bow necklace. I finished the look with a gray jersey skirt, black cotton leggings, ivory cable-knit leg warmers, and pink sneakers with rainbow platforms. Cute, cozy, and comfortable!
I really loved the Y2K era of platform sneakers and am really happy to see them coming back. They are comfortable and flattering on people like me who have short, stocky legs. The moment I saw these shoes, I knew I had to have them.
I also wore these super cute triple heart earrings that were gold with clear crystals, like the bow necklace. In my hair I had sparkly off-white rose clips.
Simple makeup with pink lips, black liquid eyeliner, and fine iridescent glitter at the temples.
Apparently I also had rainbow nails at the time, which didn’t match anything. Hah. But if we’re being real here, my hair didn’t match anything either.
Because it was winter when I wore this outfit, I wore this pink down coat from Lands’ End over it. Lands’ End is a “Buy It for Life” brand – not trendy, but high quality and will last you a long time. When I happen to find something in a cute shade of pink from this brand, I absolutely wear the heck out of it (their basic cotton tees are great). In the winter, I practically live in this coat. It turns me into a fluffy pink marshmallow! Nice and warm. ♥
