First worn: Anime LA 2020
This is one of those costumes I never would have thought of on my own, but when asked, “Do you want to cosplay Battle Chess Queens?” the answer is, heck yes! I loved that game! It was my sister’s idea, and we quickly got excited about all the random cheap bling we could order off of Amazon Prime. I ended up making both dresses for time/convenience/matching reasons, pretty simple costumes though. I mean, aside from the huge mess we made trimming fur. We actually had one person recognize our cosplay and go “Wait…. is that… Battle Chess?! Who does that?!” We do, apparently. Good times.
