First worn: Anime Expo 2014
This costume was in progress for many years! Alice is such a cute monster 
! I’d always wanted to make an Alice costume, but after making Meruhen Maid and realizing I could reuse parts, I was even more inspired! The design for Alice is actually VERY inconsistent, so I took a few liberties with it. Basically I made Meruhen Maid 2, and then I made long sleeves that I could attach to the puffed sleeves (I made them white with black cuffs, matching the in-game sprite). I grabbed a red scarf from another costume to use as a tie. Not extremely accurate, but as I said, the design is very inconsistent anyway. Every part of my costume matches SOME existing reference, just not the same one. I didn’t want to carry a broom with me at a convention, so I carried a black and white plush cat with a red ribbon tied around it to look like a Wild Rose (because Alice can summon a Wild Rose).
